RemoteStar is looking to hire a Devops Engineer on behalf of our client headquartered in Amsterdam with a branch office in Cambridge/UK
About Client:
An Amsterdam based company is looking for a dynamic, creative, Devops Engineer to join their development team and build extraordinary software. You will be working in the Cambridge Office, for a unique, diverse, and collaborative organisation serving Research & Education networking.
This is a full-time permanent role for a true self-starter, someone who wants to build something from the beginning.
As our Devops Engineer, you will:
Be a key part of our small and highly collaborative DevOps team, located across their offices in Cambridge and Amsterdam.
responsible for providing operational support for the centralised Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructure (AAI) used by various in-house/third-party developed services.
help us identify and leverage the best available technologies, tools and cloud services to find the best solution to each technical challenge.
develop high-quality software using the right language for the problem in hand, focusing on simplicity, elegance and economy.
What do we value?
3+ years experience designing, building and maintaining secure, scalable and high-performance back-ends for SaaS systems in the Cloud.
A degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related discipline
In-depth understanding of Federated Identity Management and two or more of the following technologies: SAML, Open ID Connect, Shibboleth, SimpleSAMLphp, ADFS, LDAP.
Comfortable maintaining DevOps tools written in Bash or Python and have knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Sensu-go and Grafana as well as extensive experience working with Git
